Stucks and "OOPS" - page 2
Steven tried to follow Jenn and Marc after
going through this washout. He quickly discovered that the
departure angle on his Jimmy was not quite as good as the Jeep's.
Some minor readjustment to the bumper was done courtesy of the
dirt, but nothing major. We're beginning to think that Steven not
only doesn't mind body damage, but actually tries for it on
purpose...

Another victim of poor departure angle, Jacob (Jenn's brother)
discovers that he bit off a little more than his bumper could
chew.
This guy went too far into the Tank Traps at
Hollister Hills a few weeks after Top Truck Challenge. Initially,
Don tried to winch him alone, but could't budge him, even with a
snatch block on the 8000 lb. Warn. A Jeep with a Warn M12000
(12000 lb. capacity) came along to help. We ended up having to
use both winches with snatch blocks simultaneously in order to
pull out the Chevy. That's about 34000 lbs. of pull!

We found this guy on a trail in Hollister. He had hit a rut just
wrong, and went over. We got him upright with a series of pulls
from Jason's 4Runner, and he drove home after adding oil to the
engine. Total damage was estimated at $1000, most of it in the
bent windshield frame.
